of the 17 year-old victim at this point they have no suspects in the case. they said he was shot two to three times with no word as to whether or not there was one or multiple suitors. the victim was staying with relatives at the public housing complex and his sister tells me her brother had just turned 17 earlier this week. she is the understandably devastated by her loss. >> i don't know. i don't know who shot my brother. i wish i did know who shot my brother. i have an idea who did but i am not positive. i do not know. >> to tell me her brother was nervous last night because of suspicious people in the area. police cannot confirm that as it to me but they are continuing to interview witnesses trying to find out exactly what happened. this is third into a tragic morning here in marin city. >> was he alone and so there were no witnesses and it happened late at night?

below freezing in walnut creek at the freezing point and livermore. it is pretty clear we do not have issues with visibility. the afternoon will provide send some sosome sunshine. i do not think we will see any rain. afternoon rains another unseasonablif the expected in cupertino and sunshine and more clouds will develop compared to yesterday for the east bay. livermore and pleasanton are sticky of the 40's, 52 for castro valley 51 first san leandro. 51 for san francisco at 52 degrees in berkeley. the 49ers forecast for the playoff game against green bay

gate bridge you're still doing fine and 21 minutes from about into san downtown san francisco. >> a man who was killed after his big rig crash along highway 37 and vallejo as been identified as 43 year old william ballard of roseville. we brought the story to you live on kron4 morning news. he was driving west on 37 when he collided with a white pickup. the big rig felt from the highway into a grassy area near northbound 29 before bursting into flames. he was pulled to safety but succumbed to his injuries. >> the results at an end of our pilot of the tanker that had the bay bridge monday morning passed a drug test. the high kleess had already passed as alcohol test. we

trying to determine if a car found in culver city was there getaway vehicle. >> that came in that was out at regarding 34 lbs. of marijuana at a castro valley home on tuesday has died. the alligator like creature named mr. teeth was seized during a probation check and handed over to the oakland zoo. staff members at animals critically ill and died in the honor is now facing drug charges. >> police have arrested a suspect but almost $420,000 of marijuana stored in a container and sausalito. police were tipped off to the suspect as activities through an anonymous caller on the december 29th. the caller told police that the suspect's name which was nicholas papas and the marijuana was located at the marin is set up self storage. when police arrived

arrests have been made. >it vallejo and will be in court today after police say he confessed to murdering his own mother. it is a story we've been calling here on the kron4 morning news. the state 70 road dennis stanworth told police that he had killed his 89 year old mother and nellie stanworth. he led officers to her body. he is a former death row inmate was found guilty in 1966 of kidnapping and killing a teenage girls in contra costa county. he had been living with his mother after being paroled. >> the suspect accused of adapting his children from san francisco and boarding installing got last year will be in court for his preliminary hearing today. this is video christopher mcveigh's last court
